You probably know this as a fact that Chinese people like to bargain. Have you thought about why?
My opinion is that in Chinese traditional culture, businesspeople should not be trusted.

Certain there is a historical aspects that make bargaining so prevalent in Chinese society, but in today's modern society is it really necessarry?
I believe in fair pricing and despise haggling. Haggling still exists in all sphere of the world and is sometimes disguised in various forms, but I find it nowhere as prevalent as it is in China.
As a person who hates haggling, that is why I prefer to spend my money in HK rather than in the Mainland. The mainland gets very little of my money.

Sorry for the mainland sorry business people. Some of them are greedy. There are also honest business people there who believe doing business in a non haggling way.
